Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival to take over downtown’s Jockey Alley June 8th

Michigan craft beer enthusiasts will enjoy craft beer, cider and wine from 30 Michigan breweries at the sixth annual Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival June 8th. The event is presented by the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees and The Bird Bar and Grill.

The event will be held in downtown Mt. Pleasant’s Jockey Alley with VIP hour starting at 3 pm and general admission at 4 pm.

General admission tickets are available prior to the event for $20 and $25 at the door. General Admission ticket holders will receive a sampling glass plus six drink tickets and entrance to the event beginning at 4 pm. VIP tickets cost $35 in advance and $40 at the door. VIP ticket holders will gain early admission at 3 pm, will receive a sampling glass plus ten drink tickets, will have first access to limited quantity brews, and a chance to talk with brewery representatives. Back by popular demand, VIP tickets holders will receive a festival swag bag and exclusive access to real restrooms! All attendees will enjoy live music, food from several local restaurants and have the opportunity to visit other Michigan vendors.

Proceeds from the event benefit local nonprofit organizations. Since the event started in 2014, the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees have been able to grant over $130,000 back to local community organizations. The Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival is sponsored by The Bird Bar and Grill, Blystone and Bailey, Coyne Oil & Propane, Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation, and Wieferich Financial.
