Kids in grades K-2 have the opportunity to dive in, learn more, and get messy in The Amazing Coral Reef Camp and the Score and Slurry Clay Camp:

The Amazing Coral Reef: Kids learn about the coral reef and then make one! Little campers design and create numerous components of a beautiful living reef with all of it’s beautiful fish, anemone and plantlife. Then we place all of our sculptures together for an amazing collaborative project. Scultures go home after the photos are take!  Three Days • June 11–13 • 1-3:30 pm • $80 for members $90 non-members • $10 off Siblings.

Score and Slurry Clay Camp: Located in our beautiful Ceramics Studio campers will learn about hand building including slab and extrusion in clay. We will also touch on wheel work with each child getting to try it. Young artists will take home completed pottery and clay sculpture that you will treasure for years after the class ends. Children in grades 2-5 are able to learn more about sustainability and recycling in our It Ain’t Easy Being Green Camp, and delve into The Wizard of Oz in the Lions, Tigers, and Bears OH MY It’s Oz camp:

It Ain’t Easy Being Green: Kids learn all about recycling- and not just how to sort the trash in the kitchen. This camp includes a tour of the Padnos Recycling Scrapyard and the Padnos Pine Street Sculptures. We make a worm farm and create our own sculptures out of recycled materials. Local recycling experts visit and teach us more about sustainability. Four Days • July 9-12 • 1-4pm • $110 for members $120 non-members • $10 off Siblings.

Lions, Tigers and Bears OH MY! It’s OZ: We take a tour to visit the neighborhood where the Wizard of Oz was written and learn the backstory of the famous book and Movie. We watch dramatic portions of the film with a movie expert and discuss why it’s so great! We make OZ action characters like the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow or Gilda the Good Witch to go in our dioramas. We travel to the kitchen and make yellow brick road cookies! Four Days • July 23-26 • 1-4pm • $110 for members $120 non-members • $10 off Siblings.

Kids in grades 3-7 are able to increase their fine motor skills and have fun by sewing, sketching, designing, cooking, and more in our Amish Life Quilting Camp as well as the Eat With Your Eyes Cooking Camp:

Quilting Camp – Amish Life: We weave in a little American art history and culture and then plunge into the design and construction of our Amish style quilts! Amish quilts have simple designs and colors that result in striking quilts. They used cast off fibers and work clothes that transformed into super modern designs. Kids will sketch, plan, design and use the sewing machines to make their own kid sized Amish Inspired quilts. Four Days • June 25 – 28 • 1-4pm • $110 for members $120 non-members • $10 off Siblings.

Eat With Your Eyes Cooking Camp: An introduction to cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner and how to make an artful presentation. Tie on an apron, roll up your sleeves and start stirring! Kids will get an introduction to cooking from scratch. Throughout the week, kids will learn how to cook a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner, and your chef will leave with skills to try at home!  July 17-19 • 1:00-4:00 p.m. • $110 members, $120 non-members, $10 off siblings.
