The Downtown Merchants Association (DMA) invites you to head to downtown Gaylord on Saturday, April 13th for the Easter Hop. Taking place from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., children of all ages will delight in collecting candy-filled plastic eggs from participating businesses and visits with the Easter Bunny as he hops from store to store.
Be sure to open your eggs before heading home, as they could contain certificates for special prizes, which must be redeemed at the Old Spud Warehouse by 1:00 p.m.! Prizes and candy have been donated by the Downtown Merchants Association, along with local businesses and individuals, including Jay’s Sporting Goods, Shoppes on Main, Muffler Man, North Country Aviation, Todd Seidell, Gary Scott, and Smith Realty Group.
This will be the 2nd year the DMA has hosted the Easter Hop. According to Stacy Shafto, owner of Isabella’s Copper Pot and DMA President, “The DMA was surprised by the attendance last year and we actually ran out of eggs! This year we have doubled the number of eggs and prizes.”
Please join the following local businesses for the Easter Hop: Koukla, Woolybuggers, Tools to Teach, Lady Latte, Old Spud Warehouse, Isabella’s Copper Pot, Alpine Chocolat Haus, Hogan’s Jewelers, Great Rooms Furniture, Gaylord Area Council for the Arts, Snowbelt Brewery, Saturn Booksellers, Sugar Bowl, Delphine’s Quilt Shop and CRAVE.
The DMA is a group of actively involved business partners who strive to enhance the downtown experience for shoppers, diners, locals and visitors alike. The DMA regularly hosts events in downtown Gaylord, which can be found at www.facebook.com/downtowngaylord.
