Adults-Only Valentine’s Day Events

These Valentine’s Day events are for the adults 21-and-older only! Get a babysitter and enjoy your time out in West Michigan.

 

The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum is hosting a Grown-Up Play Date on Friday, February 8th. Adults will take over the museum for a Clue-themed murder mystery party. Your ticket to the Grown-Up Play Date includes games, music, appetizers, and one adult beverage.

Take advantage of the fresh air, exercise, and the fluffy white stuff at its peak with the 4th Annual Wineshoeing event at Maple Moon Sugarbush & Winery in Petoskey. This guided snowshoe tour of their 80-acre forest will be held on Saturday, February 9th. The event includes a combination of chili and wine, with reservations required due to limited space.

Come celebrate your love of cocktails in this Valentine’s Day cocktail class at the Downtown Market Grand Rapids on Sunday, February 10th. They’ll start with a vodka-centric chocolate and cherry-flavored cocktail that will put hearts in your eyes. Then, they’ll move on to a gin-based cocktail, containing ginger and cherry flavors, topped with some bubbly. You will certainly be feeling the love after this cocktail class.

The time for this year’s Cider Maker’s Dinner at Crane’s Pie Pantry, Restaurant & Winery is nearly here! You’re invited to an incredible six-course dinner paired with some of Crane’s best ciders on Saturday, February 16th. They will be featuring new releases of cider flavors and offering special discounts on any of Crane’s products taken home with you.

On Saturday, February 16th, Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula is hosting their Romancing the Riesling event. This annual event celebrates ‘the grape that defines white wine’ and the varietal for which northern Michigan wine region is best known.

Head to the Muskegon Luge Sports Complex for Parkas & Plates, a progressive dinner set on their ski and snowshoe trails on Saturday, February 16th. This evening will include skiing and/or snowshoeing, a special gourmet five-course menu, drinks, and live entertainment. The Parkas & Plates event is for adults 21 and older

Treat your date to a wine tasting in the Saugatuck area. Visit Fenn Valley Vineyards in Fennville on February 16th and 17th for the Vino-times tastings. For $40 per couple, enjoy an array of wines, cheeses, and chocolates. Guests also receive a sparkling wine flute, truffles, and a rose for your valentine.

The Henderson Castle Inn & Winery in Kalamazoo will be hosting a Valentine’s Dinner on Thursday, February 14th. The seven-course dinner is sure to wow your date, from the amuse bouche to the dessert du jour. Want to add an extra special touch? Add the Romantic Tablescape Package, which includes a bottle of chilled sparkling wine waiting for you, glasses topped with chocolate covered strawberries, a beautiful single red rose in a vase to take home, and fresh rose petals adorning the table.

The events team at Black Star Farms invites you to an evening you will remember forever with their Harvest Dinner on Thursday, February 14th. This wine-paired culinary experience is inspired by the best local, seasonal ingredients sourced from northern Michigan’s finest farms, along with their very own farm right in Suttons Bay.

Join Taste the Passion on the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail with the sweetest event of the year. The Taste the Passion event takes place February 9th and 10th, and there’s “snow” much fun to be had along the trail.
