Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce Cash Bash Raffle

The Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce’s Annual “Ca$h Ba$h” will be held on Friday evening, November 2, 2018, at the Reception and Conference Center of St. Anthony’s Church, Mackinaw City. This year it will be a roaring 20s speakeasy theme, with 20s attire encouraged (but not required). The Annual Membership Meeting, for members only, will begin at 5:30pm, followed at 6:00pm when the doors will be opened to all guests with reservations for the dinner. The Ca$h Ba$h is a fundraiser for community programs and services sponsored by the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce. The Annual Dinner is a time for members to discuss the season and an opportunity to present their Annual Report.

Cash prizes include:

  • 1st prize – $4,000.00
  • 2nd prize – $1,500.00
  • 3rd Place – $750.00
  • 4th place – $500.00
  • 5th Place – $250.00
  • 6th Place – $100.00

In addition, the evening will be filled with In-House Games such as a Wine Pull, Playing Card Raffle, and a contest for Best-Dressed in Men’s, Women’s, and Couple’s Categories.

Special guest for the evening will be internationally renowned Ragtime Pianist Robert “Bob” Milne. Bob’s endless enthusiasm, enchanting ease of playing, his engaging manner while telling stories about the music, and his warmth and humor all come together to make him, as he has been described by a member of the U.S. State Department, “a musical ambassador”. Considered to be the best ragtime/boogie-woogie pianist in the world, he was filmed and documented for future generations in 2004 during three days of interviews at the Library of Congress and was declared a National Treasure at the conclusion.
