The Box Factory for the Arts is happy to be showcasing the work of nineteen artists for our sixth exhibition of the year, running through November 10th. The Eli Zilke Collaborative presents “Collaborative Nature” in our Williams Gallery. The show was curated by Eli Zilke of Water Street Glassworks in Benton Harbor and features 13 glass artists and over 50 pieces. Jennifer Tomshack, a St. Joseph based photographer, is showing “Spirit of Place” in our Riverwalk Gallery. The Whitlow Gallery is the home of “Bloomin’ at the Box” by the Box Palette Group, made up of five artists who paint together weekly at the Box Factory (Ann Brainard, Barb Pries, Jean Postelli, Joan Judd and Di Seely). You may view these exhibits during the Box Factory’s regular hours (Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm). We are also welcoming visitors after hours to tour the exhibits on Tuesday, October 23rd from 6-8 pm. The artists will be on hand to serve as personal guides, talk about their work and to answer your questions. There will be time to explore on your own as well. A number of Box Factory Artists will also be holding open studio hours during the evening. It’s a nice time to be invited inside the studios, watch an artist at work and ask any questions you may have.
This Gallery Tour is FREE and open to the public. Donations to the Box Factory for the Arts are always appreciated.
