Trick-or-Treating in West Michigan

The trick-or-treating event on Saturday, October 13th in Battle Creek takes over the grounds of Kingman Museum, Leila Arboretum, and the Kaleidoscope Garden. Dubbed Spooky Science Saturday, the event features over 40 interactive science stations focusing on STEM activities.

The Treat the Creek event at Festival Market Square in Battle Creek is Friday, October 26th. Bring your kids to downtown Battle Creek for a fun pre-Halloween trick-or-treating event!

Historic White Pine Village in Ludington will host trick-or-treaters on Saturday, October 20th. This family-friendly event is geared toward children of all ages. Wear your costume and bring a trick-or-treating bag to take part in the village’s trick-or-treating fun.

Experience Sault Ste. Marie’s Halloween Spectacular with downtown trick-or-treating on Friday, October 26th. The event includes candy, hayrides, and a haunted theater starting at 5pm.

Treat yourself to a night of Halloween fun on the candlelit trails of Pierce Cedar Creek Institute in Hastings on Saturday, October 27th. Wear your favorite family-friendly costume and bring your little boos and ghouls for trick-or-treating along the half-mile loops. Then, take in the sights, smells, and sounds of autumn on the mile-and-a-half trail loop through prairies, beech-maple forests, and wetlands.

Stop by the Holland Museum on Saturday, October 27th for the Monsters at the Museum trick-or-treating event. This family-friendly, not-so-spooky event is intended for children ages eight and under.

The Halloween Walk Parade has little ghosts and goblins making their way through downtown Traverse City on Saturday, October 27th. Bring your costume-clad children for a fun day of trick-or-treating at participating stores throughout the downtown area.

Coldwater Country is the place to be for Halloween fun for all ages. Bring the family and enjoy Halloween parades and trick-or-treating through downtown Bronson, Coldwater, and Quincy. Bronson and Quincy host their trick-or-treating on Halloween night, while Coldwater hosts theirs on Saturday, October 27th.

The City of Hastings is hosting their trick-or-treating event the evening of Wednesday, October 31st. Six blocks of historical Green Street become a popular Halloween destination for you and your family.

The St. Joseph area hosts two Halloween trick-or-treating events on Wednesday, October 31st. Trick-or-treat downtown from 4:30pm to 6pm or enjoy the city-wide trick-or-treating fun from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Businesses in downtown Cheboygan will be passing out candy to costumed kiddos on Wednesday, October 31st. Participating businesses will have orange pumpkins on display in their storefront windows.

Enjoy the festivities at The Village at Bay Harbor during the annual Trunk ‘R Treat event on Wednesday, October 31st. This is a great way for the community, you, and your kids to enjoy Halloween.

Each Halloween, the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce brings together trick-or-treaters from outlying communities which often leads to a candy shortage crisis! Stop by with your costume-clad kids or decorate your own trunk to pass out candy and have a chance to win fun prizes.

For the kids in your family, stop by the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven and collect treats around the museum at the free kids’ trick-or-treat on Wednesday, October 31st. Non-food treats are available at each station upon request.

Bring the kids to Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday, October 31st, where various businesses will be handing out candy to all the costumed kids!
