Support Local Culinary Students at Taste of Harbor Springs on September 22nd

Where can you find a new wine, great craft beer, and creative tastes of northern Michigan? At the Taste of Harbor Springs!

Sample food, wine, and beer on Saturday, September 22 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Harbor Springs waterfront. Local restaurants will be providing unlimited food tastes, plus there will be new wine and craft beer to try at various tasting stations.

“Taste of Harbor Springs is such an amazing deal,” stated Jenny Brower, co-coordinator of this year’s event. “With your ticket purchase, you get unlimited food tastes, two glasses of wine or beer, and a really cool glass to keep!”

Tickets for Taste of Harbor Springs are $30 in advance and include unlimited food tastes, two drink tickets for beer and wine, and a commemorative keepsake glass.

“Taste of Harbor Springs is also a fundraising event for culinary students,” stated Mary Ellen Hughes, event coordinator. “Tickets sales help fund culinary scholarships which we award to northern Michigan culinary students and professionals.”

Culinary students and professionals are invited to contact the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce for a culinary scholarship application. Hughes and Brower recently visited the Les Cheneaux Culinary School where one of the scholarship recipients is attending this year.

Online ticket sales end at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21. Tickets will be available at the gate for $45 on the day of the event. This event is held rain or shine under the tents at the Harbor Springs waterfront.
