2018 Michigan Wine Competition Results, Winners from the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail

The results of the 2018 Michigan Wine Competition were announced at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on the campus of Michigan State University on Thursday, August 9.

Out of 415 wines entered in the competition from wineries all over the State, the wineries of the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail were awarded 125 medals, including three (3) in the Best of Class category.

  • Category – Semi-Dry Red Wine went to Lawton Ridge Winery for their AZO Red
  • Category – Dessert Wine went to St. Julian Wine Company for Solera Cream Sherry
  • Category – Fruit Wine went to St. Julian Wine Company for Sweet Nancie Peach
