Holland Area Arts Council Presents New Exhibitions With Three Receptions on One Night

The Holland Area Arts Council is happy to present three exhibitions with Opening Receptions on Thursday, July 19th from 6-8 pm. We welcome the work of Northern Michigan artists Kristine Lynn Granger and Michael Letts along with Grand Haven fiber artist Gloria Kirk-Hanna for a triple opening showing unique, modern, classical and striking artworks.

Kristine Granger will be unveiling her suspended sculptural installation “layers” in the lofty Armstrong Gallery, on display from July 19-September 6. This installation will have ceiling hung bodily elements, floor pieces and photographs.

Michael Letts will fill the expanse of the Padnos Gallery from July 19- September 6 with his dramatic, large-scale charcoal drawings of Northern Michigan Wildlife with his “Bestiary” exhibit.

Gloria Kirk-Hanna explores emotions of loss though extreme oversized fiber works that are ethereal and fantastic. These pieces are currently hanging in Lievense Gallery from June 21- August 11.

These three shows are not to be missed this summer.  If you are unable to make it to the opening to hear the artists talk about their works on July 19th from 6-8 pm please make it a point to stop by the Arts Council to view these exhibitions.
