Beer Dinner: Greenbush Brewing at HopCat Kalamazoo

  • Tuesday, June 26th
  • Join us for a much-anticipated beer dinner with the rad folks from Greenbush Brewing Co. in Sawyer, MI! We’re beyond excited to bring you this bright & flavorful lineup of 5 fantastic brews paired with 4 outstanding courses from our talented and creative Executive Chef, Matthew Palen!
  • Food includes sushi, risotto, wild boar, and lavender/hazelnut chocolate meringues
  • A welcome beer, and one paired with each course.

Michigan Princess Riverboat

  • Step back in time to the early days of river cruising. The Michigan Princess is a classic replica of a 19th century steam boat. Escape to a simpler way of life for a few hours while they take in breathtaking views of the Grand River.
  • While onboard, they can enjoy live entertainment, a refreshing cocktail, fine dining and more.
  • They offer all sorts of themed river cruises. Coming up: Father’s Day cruise on Sunday, June 17th. Bring dad out for a boat ride and dinner!

The Heritage Museum & Cultural Center

  • Join us as we celebrate the launch of new lighthouse exhibitions on the pier and at the Heritage Museum in St. Joseph!
  • New exhibit: Enter the Inner Lighthouse & Fog Signal Building and step into the old lighthouse keeper’s shoes. Explore historic photos, maps, and reproductions.
  • Thursday, June 14: 5:00 – 7:30pm – Refreshments served, Museum Exhibits open. Door Prize drawing at 6:30pm for a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer!

  • During Lighthouse Open Hours on June 15-16, we are offering FREE tours up to the lantern (normally a $5 charge) as we celebrate the new exhibit on the pier! Climb a ladder and two spiral staircases over 50 feet up to the top to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the harbor. First-come, first-served; must be at least 4 feet tall to climb.

Lake Michigan Shore Wine Fest

  • The Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail is delighted to make an exciting announcement! **NEW LOCATION**
  • We are moving our 13th Annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival to WARREN DUNES STATE PARK in SAWYER, MI because of the growing popularity of this showcase event and because of the favorable addition of MORE wineries to the area.
  • **TICKETS FOR FOR THE 2018 EVENT ARE ON SALE!** $10 in advance or $15 at the gate.
  • As we’ve always done for the last 12 years whereby our attendees sample our wines by taste or by the glass, all the wonderful locally-grown-and-produced varietals from The Lake Michigan Shore area
  • The festival will continue to feature fantastic regional live music programming, a big top tent that houses our awesome wineries, access to the beach and beautiful Lake Michigan, an enviable sunset and a whole lot of world-class wines! All below the backdrop of the towering sands of beautiful Warren Dunes.
  • Also, new this year! We will be showcasing area food trucks and other local restaurants to pair with the amazing varietals!
