Father’s Day Treats from Chocolates by Grimaldi for Your Macho Man

Father’s Day is right around the corner (June 17th), and Chocolates by Grimaldi has the perfect Father’s Day gift for all the big tough guys in your life!

One bite of Chocolates by Grimaldi’s Giant Chocolate Turtles or their hand-rolled Truffles will take them back to a softer, gentler time when life was made better with just a special piece of rich creamy decadent chocolate! Watch the years melt away as your manly man takes a trip back to his childhood.

“Our chocolates will bring out his sweeter side,” said Molli Laham, Co-Owner and Operator of Chocolates by Grimaldi in Grand Haven, “and leave him wondering how our delectable treats are made.”

Chocolates by Grimaldi’s tours will appeal to Dad’s ingenuity and give him a chance to explore all the “Big Guy” machines and see how things work. Depending on what is being made at the time, he may have the opportunity to watch Chocolate Covered Potato Chips being made on their 38-foot-long classic 1950’s enrober. He’ll also be able to check out their caramel machine and possibly see items like their Blueberry Caramels get drenched in buttery rich caramel before they are enrobed in chocolate. The $4.00 tours will provide him with the opportunity to learn about the whole chocolate confection making process from pod to bean to chocolate and also enjoy samples of what the chocolatiers are making at the time.

Chocolates by Grimaldi’s new Team Building Event might also appeal to the leader of your pack.  The event will help him hone his leadership skills at home and in the workplace. Designed to identify individual strengths and weakness and see who works well together, team members are challenged to rally together and come up with and create a chocolate-themed design. While their creations are setting, team members collaborate to generate a pitch and designate one team member to share their final creation with the judges. Teams are scored on the correlation of their design to the overall theme, as well their presentation, the appearance of their creation, and its taste.

Over 20 different groups have already taken advantage of the class. This includes worldwide companies like Gerber-Nestle and nationwide companies like Chick-fil-A.

Chocolates by Grimaldi shuts down their production and provides team members with access to their kitchen for $75 per person. In addition to the team building experience, each participant will take home an assortment of Chocolates by Grimaldi’s best sellers. Chocolates by Grimaldi requires a minimum of 10, and a maximum of 40, participants to hold a Team Builder Class. All of the classes are private. Call 616-935-7740 to reserve your class today.

In addition to their Team Building Event, tours, and chocolate sales, Chocolates by Grimaldi also offers Creative Chocolate Classes. You can also schedule a private chocolate-making class for a bachelorette party or a shower.

Their 90-minute Creative Chocolate classes allow participants to paint and create their own chocolate bar while socializing with their friends and loved ones. For $35.00 per person Chocolates by Grimaldi will provide you with the CHOCOLATE and all of the supplies and ingredients needed to paint, flavor, and decorate your own unique chocolate creation. Chocolates by Grimaldi can accommodate up to 24 participants per class. Private classes are available for groups of 12 or more. Call 616-935-7740 to reserve your class today.
