Library Sunday Concert Series Closes Season with Jazz Performer David Dilsizian

Loutit District Library concludes it ninth Sunday Afternoon Concert Series on May 20 with jazz artist David Dilsizian.

Dilsizian will perform the great jazz standards of the past, including selections from Gershwin and Cole Porter as well as a few originals.

He recently released an EP with pianist Pat Felitti and has performed at Carnegie Hall, The US Open Tennis with Gloria Estefan, 2015 Dove Awards, and currently sings with Opera Grand Rapids. David grew up in Metro Detroit, but has called West Michigan home for the last five years.

While living in New York City, David performed at the U.S Open, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Gardens, and The Tribecca Performing Arts Center. He was also part of the Central City Christmas Spectacular, and the Windsor Chinese New Year’s Gala. His song “Fly Away” is now on iTunes

This is the final concert in a series of nine free monthly offerings held at LDL. All concerts run from 2-3 p.m. on the library’s upper level lobby. LDL will begin its 10th Sunday Afternoon Concert Series on September 9, 2018 with the Galen Bundy Piano Trio.
