What’s Happening in Northern Michigan: Big Band Dinner & Dance, Lake Michigan Lighthouse Map

What’s your idea of a good time? Enjoying a nice dinner accompanied by some live music? Or maybe appreciating some of Michigan’s most celebrated landmarks? Courtney Sheffer with the West Michigan Tourist Association is back with a look at What’s Happening in Northern Michigan.

Head to Portage Point Resort in Onekama for its Big Band Dinner & Dance coming up on May 19. The dinner & dance will feature a 16-piece live band, enabling you to cut a rug on the spacious dance floor or just kick back and enjoy the sounds. Tickets are available for just the dinner and dance, or you can book a room with an all-inclusive overnight package. Reservations need to be made by May 5.

This year’s edition of the Lake Michigan Lighthouse Map and Circle Tour is now available! Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the map showcases all of the lighthouses surrounding Lake Michigan, as well as the Circle Tour driving route around the lake.
