What’s Happening in Northern Michigan: Easter Celebrations

Spring is in the air, and that means Easter celebrations are just around the corner! Courtney Sheffer with the West Michigan Tourist Association breaks down some of the fun Easter festivities to enjoy this season.

Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville will host its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. Search for over 3,000 eggs and see if you can find the golden egg to win an Easter basket full of fun! After the Easter egg hunt get a photo with the Easter bunny at 11 a.m. at the Inn Lounge. Come back on Sunday, April 1 for the Easter buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to continue the celebration.

Easter weekend is filled with family fun at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Williamsburg. They’re celebrating with a weekend full of fun including a magic show Saturday night, giant inflatable family fun zone, arts and crafts, games, and an Easter egg hunt! Whether you stop by for breakfast with the Easter bunny, the Aerie Easter Brunch, or one of the many kids activities, you are sure to have an experience that puts a spring in your step!

The Charlevoix area has a packed Saturday for Easter weekend with events all day on March 31. Get energized for the egg hunt with the Easter Bunny Luncheon at Stafford’s Weathervane Restaurant. After a nice meal, find eggs at the 25th annual Easter egg hunt in downtown Charlevoix’s East Park. Additional activities include face painting, sweets, a visit from the Easter bunny and more.
