Shop Local and Toast National Cider Day at the 3rd Annual Virtue Cider Holiday Buzz Market Saturday, Nov. 18

Shop local for the holidays. Back for its third year, Virtue Cider is hosting its Holiday Buzz Market, featuring local makers and purveyors of great gifts and goods from Southwest Michigan. Stop by from 3-7pm on Saturday, Nov. 18 for one of the area’s finest and most fun markets. Enjoy live music from local musicians, snacks, and of course lots of local cider from Virtue. Bonus: Nov. 18 is also National Cider Day, so raise a glass with us!

In addition to the artisan and maker stands, we will be featuring:

  • Cider sales for charity: A portion of proceeds from sales of the new Virtue Cider Wassail, made in collaboration with Devils Backbone Brewing Company, will benefit the Allegan County Food Pantry. Virtue Cider Wassail is a blend of cider aged in Bourbon barrels, mulled cider, and fresh-pressed juice from this year’s harvest. 7.5% ABV.
  • Mulled cider gift packs: Purchases of a 765mL bottle of Cherry Mitten will include a sachet of locally blended mulling spices from Spice Crazy Cottage of Fennville.

Our Bottle Shop & Tasting Room will be open throughout the season, seven days a week from noon to 7pm.

About Virtue Cider:

Virtue is the hard cider venture launched in June 2011 by Gregory Hall, former brewmaster at Goose Island, and co-founder Stephen Schmakel. The company’s mission is to make European-style ciders from fresh heirloom apples and employ traditional farmhouse production methods that include native and secondary fermentation, use of wild yeasts, and an expansive barrel-aging program.
