This year’s dinner will be part of the annual Baroda Community Food Drive, a greater Baroda Village initiative feeding local families in need. Other organizations participating include: Baroda Area Business Association, Baroda Bible Church, Baroda Lions Club, Baroda Township, Baroda Village, and St. John’s Church.
The Thanksgiving Dinner is free to all, bringing to the table both at-risk residents and diners who choose to donate to the event, with 100% of those donations being used to buy food for local families. In 2016, the Public House’s Thanksgiving Give-Back Dinner raised $1,700 and fed 150 people.
The Thanksgiving menu includes Salad, Turkey with Cranberry Sauce, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Stuffing, Sweet Corn and Rolls, and of course, both Pecan and Pumpkin Pies. Served buffet-style, the meal includes water, soda, tea, or coffee; no alcoholic beverages will be served or sold.
Reservations are required before November 19th by calling the Public House at 269.326.7059 or email email@example.com.
As Public House’s 3rd year hosting a give-back dinner for the community, Partner Matt Moersch is humbled by the impact the event can have. “One of the primary values at Round Barn is building community—it’s why we host weekend festivals at Round Barn Estate as well as celebrations at Public House. But it is this event where we feel we really get to accomplish the goal. The staff donates their time, most of the food and beverages are donated, and all of the guests get to be a part of what makes Baroda such a special place to live,” he said.
Round Barn Public House is a family-owned and operated American-style brew pub, established in 2013. The Public House specializes in craft beers and locally inspired dishes. Our goal is to bring great food and drinks to the small community of Baroda, Michigan, and all who visit!
