Stormcloud Brewing Company has announced the next recipient of its Stormcloud Builds Community fundraising initiative. In celebration of National Cat Day, Stormcloud is helping to support Community Cats of Benzie County with a fundraising event at Stormcloud’s downtown Frankfort pub and brewery.
50% of all pub sales at Stormcloud between the hours of 4-6pm on Saturday, October 28 will be donated directly to Community Cats of Benzie County. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Community Cats of Benzie County’s mission is to reduce the number of free-roaming, stray, feral and abandoned domestic cats in Benzie County.
Community Cats of Benzie County works to assist caregivers who are feeding and watching over homeless cats by providing TNR (trap-neuter-return) and other support services such as food, shelter, vaccines and additional vet care, as well as educational resources. Community Cats of Benzie also works to have placeable cats and kittens adopted into loving homes while supporting low-cost spay/neuter programs for low income families.

As part of its Stormcloud Builds Community initiative, Stormcloud Brewing Company selects one charitable organization making a difference in northern Michigan to share its message with Stormcloud’s customers and to help raise funding for the organization. Recipients are chosen every month during the summer season and quarterly thereafter.
