Free Kids Activities During the Winter Months

Terra Square is pleased to have winter markets available to the community on the days of October 14th, November 11th, and December 2nd. From 9am until noon, community members will be able to shop organically and locally even though the weather is changing seasons.

On October 14th, community members have the opportunity to build a scarecrow for the scarecrow competition happening during Urban HayDay sponsored by Spectrum Health Zeeland. Terra Square will provide all the necessary materials to build a scarecrow, except for the worn articles of clothing. Families need to bring these pieces of clothing to stuff with hay to complete their scarecrow. Make a morning out of it by visiting the cow inflatable. Kids will enjoy the bounce house during the market as their parents pick out a few staple items at the market.

On November 11th, we would like to honor our Veterans for their commitment and service to our country. Stop by Terra Square to enjoy the Artisan Market filled with crafts, home décor, and goodies while also watching a movie that honors our West Michigan Veterans.

On December 2nd, there will be a farmers market and pancake breakfast cooked by the local Lyons Club. Decorate sugar cookies and pick up a Christmas tree.

Terra Square is excited to announce that these events are free and open to the public. Enjoy the Winter Markets, located at 3380 Chicago Drive in Hudsonville. Take a glance for other Terra Square events and kid’s programming at www.Terrasquare.com.
