Have you ever seen a two-headed lamb?  How about cows being milked by robots? Visited an alligator sanctuary?

These off-the-beaten-path experiences are exactly what Discover Kalamazoo is looking for. First launched in 2010, 269 Cool Things to do in Area Code 269™ has encouraged residents and visitors alike to submit their “off-the-map” favorite things to do within area code 269. After compiling the list of hidden gems, Discover Kalamazoo publishes the 269 Cool Things to Do in Area Code 269™ list online and in print.

“People are pulling out the 269 Cool Things To Do in Area Code 269™ publication to create weekend plans and vacations, family afternoons and quick getaways,” Newman said. “The publication enables visitors and residents to really explore our area, from Allegan to White Pigeon, Marshall to South Haven with advice from those in the know.”
