Lewis Farms and Petting Zoo will be hosting five fall festival weekends featuring a 6 acre corn maze, pig races, Disc Dogs of Michigan, live music, face painting, magicians, a stilt walker, and a candy shoot. Starting the weekend of September 23rd, each weekend will provide a place for friends and family to experience all fall has to offer at Lewis Farms and Petting Zoo. The Apple Express wagon ride brings groups through the enchanted forest and to the U-pick apple orchards. Apples, pumpkins, hardy mums, corn stalks, and gourds are in abundance on the farm to help your home feel and taste like fall too. Fresh apple cider, pumpkin donuts, baked goods, kettle corn, homemade fudge and caramel apples are some of the delicious flavors of fall that are available at the market.
“Fall is our favorite time of year here at Lewis Farms,” said owner Scott Lewis, “guests have a chance to shoot the apple cannons, go through the 6 acre corn maze, cheer on their favorite pig in the pig races, pick apples in the U-Pick orchard, watch the pumpkin chucker, and enjoy all of the entertainment we have to offer in the fall.”
Fall festival adult admission is $12 per person, children 2 and under are free, senior, military, and group discounts are also available. Admission includes the corn maze, all of the special fall entertainment, additional season-long activities like the jumping pillows, pedal carts, bird aviary, and the petting zoo. This year the corn maze design features a lighthouse and the Pure Michigan logo, and the opportunity to play the Monster Mystery game as guests navigate through the corn maze.
The annual event is held every fall season and brings the community together to celebrate fall. Lewis Farms and Petting Zoo features 700 acres of homegrown produce, over 75 animals in their petting zoo, and more than 30 activities.
