River Country Tourism Council of Southwest Michigan is holding a photo contest for the entire month of September. Entries will be accepted at www.rivercountry.com/PhotoContest . “Winning entries will be shots taken in St. Joseph County or neighboring communities and illustrate folks having FUN – on the water, in the parks, on the trails, and in our communities,” Executive Director, Sharon Zimont, said. “We want to see residents and visitors enjoying all this county has to offer.” Cash prizes are: 1st – $300, 2nd – $200, 3rd – $100. Deadline for photo submissions is September 30th, 2017.
River Country Tourism Council of Southwest Michigan is the local CVB (convention and visitors bureau) for St. Joe County. Their mission is to promote business and attract visitors to the area. St. Joseph County is a rural area rich in agriculture, outdoor recreation and natural features such as rivers, lakes, forests, sanctuaries and preserves.
