Cadillac Area Festivals & Events Grant Application Deadline Approaching

The Cadillac Area Festival and Events would like to remind those interested that the 2017 Grant application deadline is June 30. Applicants can receive the application online at www.cadillacmichigan.com/café-97 and submit them to visit@cadillacmichigan.com in a PDF file, using Subject Line: CAFÉ Grant App.

The C.A.F.E. would like to extend its resources to the community to help bring events or festivals to the greater area for multiple nights.   With its marketing support, applicants will be able to promote their event on a greater scale.

The C.A.F.E. grant awards $5,000- $10,000 annually, each award may be between $200 and $2,000 towards an event, festival or group marketing effort, including event website or social media development with custom URL or page, printing posters and handouts as well as scheduled advertising on social media, radio and television, and can also include event/attraction signage. Past recipients can be viewed on the website.

Applicants must be able to provide two years of financial information and pull visitors from the greater Cadillac area. The grant does not apply to religious or political groups, fund-raising campaigns or logistics including port-a-potties, tents, etc.  however funds can include assets to support area attractions.

C.A.F.E. has partnered with the Cadillac Area Visitors Bureau for the third consecutive year to offer these community related grants to continue improving the community and lending a hand where they can.
