Riversong Music Society Presents: Kennedy’s Kitchen at the Box Factory for the Arts

Riversong Music Society invites you to be enchanted by the vocal combination, storytelling, and enthusiastic stage presence of Kennedy’s Kitchen. This one-of-a-kind group is all things Irish from pub songs and sing-a-longs, stories, recitation, to ripping dance tunes; from pounding on the tables to crying in your beer. They have been making music together since 1998 and ever since then their outstanding musicianship and vocals have been lauded throughout Indiana and Michigan to New York and Florida. John Kennedy, the leader of the group, plays guitar as well as other stringed instruments; Liam Ladewski plays whistles and flute; Chris O’Brien is on the fiddle, mandolin and banjo; Rob Weber plays bass; Jacob Turner plays bodhran; Theresa Kubiak plays whistle and flute.

Kennedy’s Kitchen will be performing their magical blend of traditional Irish songs, as well as original tunes on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, at the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph, MI. Tickets are $10.

“To hear Kennedy’s Kitchen is to experience the heart of music, the culture of the songs being handed from musician to musician, the beauty of melody untouched by gimmick and the magic of this group of musicians coming together with one aim – to leave you, and them, breathless.  Then, on the the next song, they’ll have you partying and dancing as never before. One of America’s best!” – Tom Schaub, Entertainment Director, Michigan Irish Music Festival
