Operatic soprano Molly Alman has sung in several theatrical productions around West Michigan. On April 9th, Alman will make her first appearance at the Loutit District Library Sunday Concert Series.
Alman will be singing a variety of classical pieces such as It’s A Grand Night For Singing, The Holy City, Pie Jesu, A Heart That’s Free, How Beautiful Are The Feet of Them, The Girl In 14G, Just Show Me How To Love You, and Cinema Paradiso.
Alman will be accompanied on the piano by Audra Erb.
This is the eighth in a series of nine free monthly concerts held at LDL on the second Sunday of the month through April 2017 with May’s offering on the third Sunday. All concerts run from 2pm 3pm on the library’s upper level lobby.

Alman has spent over a decade singing in the West Michigan area as well as Warsaw, Indiana. She has been in various theatrical productions in Muskegon, Grand Haven, Rockford, Grand Rapids, Holland, and Manistee. Molly was vocally trained by world renowned tenor and Grand Haven resident, Carlos Seise.
She has sung with the Muskegon Chamber choir and the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus and is currently singing with the Evangelical Choral Society of Grand Rapids.
