The Dennos Museum Center presents two two-day workshop with the internationally recognized and award winning quilt artist Jim Hay from Japan. The workshops are entitled “The Dots Have It” and “Open a New Page.” They will be offered May 1-4, 2017 at the museum. To register call (231) 995-1573.
Jim Hay has his studio in Takasaki, Gunma, Japan near Tokyo. His quilts have been shown in major exhibitions of art quilts throughout the world and on several occasions at the Dennos Museum Center, including a one person exhibition in 2014.
Jim Hay has offered art quilt workshops at the Dennos Museum Center in recent years. If you have not taken a workshop with Jim Hay, it is recommended, but not required, that you start with “The Dots Have It.
