Small Business Academy Featuring Phil Wrzeskinski

You won’t want to miss the next Small Business Academy on April 27th featuring award winning speaker, author, and retailer Phil Wrzesinski as he presents “Making Your Ad More Effective.” This event is sponsored by Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance and Chamber (MAEDA).

Whether you do print, broadcast or social media, this presentation shows how to craft a stronger message that will get you noticed and move the needle. This presentation will be as fun and entertaining as it is educational.

Phil Wrzesinski honed his skills running the largest independent toy store in America from 1993 until December 2016. While running his store, he received over triple the market share of the typical independent retailer in that category. In 2010, he received the Entrepreneurial Vision Award from the Jackson Chamber of Commerce.

This presentation is the best of the best from a retailer whose store was named “One of the 25 Best Independent Stores in America” in the George Whalin book, Retail Superstars (Penguin 2009). SuperZoo indicated Phil to be the “best instructor ever! Learned skills I can easily apply and make money doing it,” and Midtown Association of Jackson stated that “Phil’s tips paid off immediately at our next staff meeting.”

This Small Business Academy will be held from 8:30am to 9:30am on April 27th in the second-floor training room at the Marshall Public Services Building located at 900 S. Marshall Ave. in Marshall. This event is $5 for Marshall Chamber members and $15 for non-members payable at the door with cash or check. RSVPs are required by April 25th. Contact MAEDA at 269-781-5163 or jreid@marshallaeda.org.
