Each year, the Christmas Through Lowell committee chooses one location as their Featured Artist to be highlighted during their promotions. This year, Studio Downes, located at 9693 Downes Road, Lowell has been chosen.
Studio Downes has been participating in Christmas Through Lowell for the past five years. Artists who will provide their specialty items include Mary Jo, Janel, Anne, Chelsea and Julie. You will find painted items, refurbished furniture, scarves, jewelry, home décor, bags, baskets, wreaths and inspirational signs, ranging in price from $1 to $5,000. Open Friday and Saturday, they look forward to greeting many new and return customers.
When asked what they enjoy about being a part of Christmas Through Lowell each year, the response was, “We participate for the warm connections that surround people this time of year. We are a group of friends that have similar tastes and enjoy collaborating to create a fun and inspiring space to share our creations.” They add, “Our favorite thing about Christmas Through Lowell is all the fun we have seeing new faces. It’s great to be part of a well-managed event year after year.”
The Christmas Through Lowell brochures are available at all stops on the tour along with a stamp card. By having your card stamped at 20 locations, you may leave it at one of the locations to be entered into a door prize drawing. The brochures will be inserted into the Saturday, November 12th Lowell Buyers Guide and Sunday, November 13th Grand Rapids Press.
