Niles Scream Park to Host the Wedding of Samantha Mcclanahan and James Bradbury

On Monday, October 31, 2016, the Niles Scream Park will host the wedding ceremony of Samantha McClanahan and James Bradbury of South Bend. The ceremony is open to the public.

When asked why they wanted to get married at the Scream Park, Samantha said that it was because Halloween is James’ favorite holiday and their children voted for it too. And why pick the date of October 31st? “I wanted to make it easy for him to remember the day” she answered!

Samantha and James first met in 2005 through their sisters, who were best friends. As soon as she saw him, Samantha knew there was something special about him. She had a hard time speaking and could barely say hi when they were introduced.

Their path wasn’t a straight one, however. Soon after meeting James, Samantha moved to Tennessee to be with someone else, but moved back in six months. It was then she found out she was pregnant, and James was a big support through the pregnancy and after she gave birth to her son.

When they started working at the same company, the two were drawn together and started to go out to movies. They were together so much Samantha became like a member of his family. It didn’t last, but even after they broke up, they remained friends.

After going through a marriage and divorce, James reunited with Samantha. While reminiscing, Samantha said, “I still look back and think about the day we first met and smile because after all this time and everything we’ve been through, I still feel the same about him as the day I met him.”

The wedding ceremony, officiated by Kelly S. Jones, will be an intimate group of close family. Patrons at the Scream Park are welcome to witness the ceremony on the midway at 8pm.
