Grass River Natural Area Late Fall Programs

The Grass River Natural Area in Bellaire has plenty of programs to attend between now and the end of November. These programs cost effective programs each promise unique educational experiences for your whole family.

Owl Prowl

Friday October 28, 2016 – 7pm (1.5 hrs), $5

Learn about local owls with a short presentation and then and go for a hike to find these amazing birds. This program goes on uneven trails in the dark. Bring a light. $5. Grass River Natural Area entrance is located at 6500 Alden Highway, Bellaire, MI. www.grassriver.org

Field Guide Book Signing and Presentation

Join James Dake, education director and author of Grass River’s newly released “Field Guide to Northwest Michigan” for a presentation on the writing of the book, followed by a Q & A and a chance to get your field guide signed.
