‘The Art of Scoring a Silent Film’ with Andrew Rogers

On October 20th at 7pm, the Music House Museum presents The Art of Scoring a Silent Film. Music is a integral part of any film. Fr. Andrew Rogers will be using scenes from the classic ‘Nosfertu’ to demonstrate the process of creating a film soundtrack. Rogers, a Detroit native, is an organist at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor and the Detroit Fox. He also scores and performs silent films, and performs concerts throughout the U.S. and Internationally.
