Celebrate the harvest with a day full of events and fun at Michigan’s Heritage Park in Whitehall on September 24th from 9am to 4pm.
The day begins with a Pancake Breakfast featuring the pancake flipping skills and antics of Chris Cakes – nationally known for their flying pancakes. Breakfast will be served from 9am to noon. Pancakes are all-you-can eat and the breakfast also includes sausage, orange drink, and coffee.
Horse-drawn wagon rides will be available from 11am to 4pm. All day activities include apple games at the Farmhouse, pumpkin bowling, a straw bale maze, candy coral, and hands-on demonstrations at six of the historic stops along the trail.
Morning admission (9:00 am to Noon) for the Fall Harvest Fundraiser, which includes the breakfast, is: $17 for adults and teens, $15 for 65 and older, $12 for ages 2 to 12, and $7 for Museum members. Afternoon admission (Noon to 4pm): $12 for adults and teens, $10 for 65 and older, $7 for ages 2 – 12 and $2 for Museum members. The Pancake Breakfast ends at Noon.
The park is located at 8637 North Durham Road, US 31 exit 128 just past the Whitehall Comfort Inn. The park is open Thursday through Monday from 10am to 4pm. On Sundays, park hours are 1pm to 4pm.
