Discover the wine of West Michigan. Given the cooler climate, there is potential for many different varieties of wines. Invest your time in traveling to the over 50 vineyards located in Michigan and sample several. Most wine grapes grow within 35 miles of the “Big Lake,” and vineyards are featured on the Leelanau Peninsula, Fennville, Old Mission Peninsula and along the Lake Michigan shore from the southern border to the northern border.
