West Michigan Film Office
The West Michigan Tourist Association (WMTA) would like to announce the opening of the new West Michigan Film Office (WMFO). WMTA Executive Director Rick Hert and Director of Marketing Sarah Hayes will work with filmmakers and commercial production agencies to promote West Michigan diverse settings and assist with production opportunities.
The Film Office is backed by a strong and eager network of local contacts to help meet your daily production needs. The West Michigan Film Office provides the following services:
Scouting
We research and document any type of location background and supply photographs to your specifications. We accompany you to the suggested locations and arrange for any necessary clearances.
Pre-Production
We provide detailed information on state and local film regulations, weather, production services, crew, talent, facilities, equipment and various support services such as hotels, caterers, transportation, etc. in conjunction with the West Michigan Film Video Alliance and the Michigan Film Office
Liaison
We work closely with the various federal, state and local officials, as well as institutions, private businesses and individuals to ensure your shoot is hassle-free.
