Enjoy spooky fun and friendly frights as you trick or treat through the Michigan Historical Museum in downtown Lansing. Meet the Voyageur, the Lumberjack, Rosie the Riveter, the 1950s housewife, and other characters from Michigan history. Listen to spooky tales and try Halloween games and activities from times past. Create a creepy craft or join in an old-fashioned spider web game. Sample traditional treats. Everyone – including ghouls, ghosts and goblins - will receive a special Halloween goodie bag! Don’t forget to wear your favorite costume!

Turkeyville is ready for Halloween in a new and fun way, a haunted adventure. Open October 17 - 19 and October 24 - 26 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The adventure begins with a walk to the train depot. Everyone will board the haunted train to experience a ghoulish ride around the mile and half track that will bring the place where you began. The next stop is a walk for the brave to experience the haunted Barn, where the demons will jump out and the scary monsters have the opportunity to get close. This portion of the adventure is not for the faint at heart. Once through the trail you can return to the train or just walk back to the safety of Turkeyville. New to Turkeyville this is a Family Corn Maze. Tricky to get out of but where there is a will there is a way. Ride the Turkeyville hay wagon down the old farm trails a just maybe you will catch a glimpse of ghoulish farm animal on the way. Pick a pumpkin in the Turkeyville pumpkin patch, there is a perfect pumpkins for everyone. This is a family friendly haunted adventure sure fire way to get the whole family out to enjoy the haunted season.

The Indigo and the BrassWind Gallery are behind secret door number 5! Word is that they recorded what sounds like a young girls voice among other things that have remained secret until the book came out this week. Watch for a future book signing at the Inn.
