From the first curve of our miles and miles of groomed trails, the avid winter sports enthusiast will realize that the Benzie County snow trails are among the finest in Michigan. A trail entrance is located less than a quarter mile from the lodges. Snowmobilers have been enjoying the hundreds of miles of Benzie-Mannistee trails for decades. With stops at numerous towns with taverns and restaurants along the way, guests can make an afternoon or a week of exploring the region. Spotting the winter wildlife and snowbirds including cardinals and snowy owls is a favorite past time for many of our guests in this pristine wilderness area. Call for snomobile reservations on a first come first server basis!

Weekend rentals rates:
  • $345 (Saturday, 9 am through Monday, 9 am),
  • $195 for one day (9 am to sundown)
  • $150 for 4 hours
Weekday rental rates: (Monday through Friday)
  • $155 for 12 hours
  • $120 for 4 hours

Two-person sleds are an additional $25. Guided snowmobiling trips are available, as well as pick-up and delivery, for $50 up to 30 miles. Free area trail maps, and instruction and guidance courses are also available. For an additional $10, helmets can be rented and trailers which hold two sleds cost $60. Weekly rates are also available.
