Gerald R. Ford International Airport
Experience First Class Before You Fly!

West Michigan’s economy is flying high, and a major player in its take-off has been the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GFIA). With eight airlines providing non-stop service to 15 major markets, and one-stop service to hundreds of additional destinations, each day nearly 6,000 travelers pass through the airport.
Travelers at GFIA can expect first class service to and from the long-term and express shuttle parking lots, or by using the Valet Parking service located at the curbside.
Inside the passenger terminal building is a variety of food and beverage offerings to sit and enjoy or grab and go. Among the many items to choose from are Starbucks ® coffee, Cinnabon ® pastries, Pizza Hut pizza, and TCBY frozen desserts.

Purchase a newspaper or magazine at the Gift Shop and relax while you get your shoes shined or catch up on some work while sitting in our café or in one of our newly redesigned business centers. Take advantage of our FREE WiFi service throughout the passenger terminal. From the curb front to the airplane, you can check your email, access your work files, or just surf the Internet. Four nationwide car rental companies are available in the terminal building for your traveling convenience. Their service desks are located at the far east end of the lower level.

Traveling with the kids? Your little ones may enjoy playing in the Kids Port; while the older kids might rather spend some time playing arcade-style games in our game room. Both are conveniently located right off of the Grand Hall.
If you need information or assistance while in the airport, you can stop by the Visitor Information Desk across from baggage claim and the staff would be happy to answer your questions.

Hosting a large group? Consider renting our Special Events counter. You may provide signage throughout the airport directing your visitors to the counter where you can answer their questions and better coordinate ground transportation for them.
At Gerald R. Ford International, we know that we are the first and last impression many people have of Grand Rapids and West Michigan, and we work hard to make sure that impression is a good one.
