This summer season, visitors to St. Joseph will have a chance to check out the many amenities the community offers including the Silver Beach Center. This all new entertainment district is located just below the bluff in St. Joseph, MI and includes six popular tourist attractions: Whirlpool Compass Fountain, Silver Beach Carousel, Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone by Curious Kids’ Museum, Silver Beach Amusement Park Museum, Michigan’s tallest kaleidoscope and Shadowland on Silver Beach.

You can splash in the fountain every day hours through the summer months will be daily from 10 am - 11 pm. The Silver Beach Carousel will also offer extended hours. Carousel hours will be Monday through Saturday 10 am - 10 pm and Sunday’s noon - 10 pm.

Silver Beach has been named to have the “Sweetest Sand” by Timeout Chicago.com and was named one of the “Best Family Beaches” by Parenting Magazine. Located in St. Joseph at the mouth of the St. Joseph River, Silver Beach County Park features a clean, wide beach on Lake Michigan and public access to the South Pier.
