The program features Wild Ones, a national non-profit that promotes the use of native plants in home and garden landscapes. Mike and Carol Klug from the Kalamazoo chapter will discuss the importance of native plants in providing food and shelter for native pollinators and other wildlife. The brunch program is free, and brunch is $18 for member adults, $20 for non-member adults, $9 for member children, and $10 for non-member children.
The Gilmore Keyboard Festival in Kalamazoo is hosting a Risings Stars Series performance on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14th at Wellspring Theater. The performance features Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner, and is sure to be a concert that every mother will love!

Mother’s Day weekend is a fun and exciting weekend at The Covert/South Haven KOA. Their annual fundraising weekend for Care Camps is that weekend. This is a charity that KOA holds near and dear as they raise funds to send kids with cancer to camps that are fully staffed by volunteer medical professionals. The proceeds from the weekend, as well as a Mother’s Day basket, will go to support the camp. You can even stay on Friday and get Saturday for $10 with that money going to support the Care Camps.
